Progressive fibroproliferative disorder of the palmar fascia causing fixed flexion contracture of the fingers, most commonly ring and little finger. Strong genetic component (Northern European ancestry). Associated with diabetes, smoking, alcohol, epilepsy medications. Not caused by manual work.
