Upper Back Causing Arm Numbness
Upper thoracic segmental dysfunction (typically T3-5) causing referred symptoms into the upper limb: diffuse arm aching, paraesthesia in the hand (often glove-like, non-dermatomal), and autonomic features (heaviness, swelling sensation). A clinical diagnosis, mechanism is debated. Responds well to thoracic manipulation.
