Calcium Crystal Joint Attack

Calcium pyrophosphate crystal deposition (CPPD). Knee most commonly affected (unlike gout which is MTP). Chondrocalcinosis on X-ray. Rhomboid-shaped weakly positively birefringent crystals on aspiration.
