Overactive Bone Remodelling
Excessive disorganised bone remodelling (osteoclast overactivity then chaotic new bone). Usually over 50. Affects pelvis, femur, lumbar spine, skull, tibia. Pain, bony deformity, warmth. Markedly raised ALP. Treat with bisphosphonates.
