SLAP Tear (Superior Labrum Anterior-Posterior)
Top of Shoulder Socket Cartilage Tear
Tear of the superior labrum from anterior to posterior, where the long head of biceps tendon attaches. Classified Type I-IV (Snyder). Common in overhead athletes and after falls onto outstretched hand. Diagnosis is challenging: no single test is reliable.
