Degenerative joint disease of the GH joint. Primary (age-related) is less common than hip/knee OA. Secondary causes: post-traumatic, post-instability surgery, AVN, rotator cuff arthropathy (massive cuff tear → superior migration → eccentric wear). Mean age >60.
