Long Head of Biceps Rupture (Proximal)
Biceps Tendon Snaps at Shoulder (Popeye Arm)
Rupture of the LHB tendon at or near its origin on the superior glenoid/labrum. Most common in males >50 with pre-existing rotator cuff disease. Causes the classic "Popeye" deformity (muscle belly drops distally). Often managed conservatively in older patients as functional loss is minimal.
