Fracture of the clavicle: one of the most common fractures overall (2.6-4% of all fractures). Middle third most common (69-82%), followed by lateral (21-28%) and medial (2-3%). Usually from direct impact on shoulder or FOOSH. Peak in young active males and elderly.
