Tarsal Coalition
Fused Foot Bones
Abnormal bony, cartilaginous, or fibrous bridge between tarsal bones. Usually calcaneonavicular or talocalcaneal. Present in 1-2% of population, bilateral in 50%. Symptoms appear in adolescence when the coalition ossifies.
