Non-Specific Low Back Pain (NSLBP)
Common Lower Back Pain
Low back pain without identifiable specific pathological cause: accounts for 90-95% of all LBP presentations. No specific tissue diagnosis can be made. Characterised by pain between the costal margins and gluteal folds, with or without leg pain. Classified by duration: acute (<6 weeks), subacute (6-12 weeks), chronic (>12 weeks). Biopsychosocial model is the current framework.
