Narrowed Lower Back Spine Channel
Narrowing of the lumbar spinal canal, lateral recess, or neural foramen causing neurogenic claudication. The hallmark: leg symptoms WORSE with walking and standing, BETTER with sitting and flexion (leaning on shopping trolley: the "shopping cart sign"). Peak age >60. Most common reason for spinal surgery in >65 years.
