Osteitis Pubis
Pubic Bone Inflammation
Stress-related bone oedema and inflammation of the pubic symphysis and adjacent pubic bone. Common in athletes (football, rugby, running). Part of the spectrum of pubic-related groin pain (Doha Agreement). May coexist with adductor tendinopathy and athletic pubalgia. Can also occur post-partum and post-surgically (urological/gynaecological).
