Adductor Strain / Tendinopathy
Groin Pull
Acute strain or chronic tendinopathy of the adductor muscles (primarily adductor longus). Most common cause of groin pain in athletes (62-65% of sport-related groin pain). High recurrence rate (18-44%). Common in football, ice hockey, rugby. Often coexists with other groin pathologies (hip flexor, pubic, inguinal).
