Olecranon Bursitis
Swollen Elbow (Student's Elbow)
Inflammation and swelling of the olecranon bursa on the posterior aspect of the elbow. Can be traumatic (acute impact), friction (repetitive leaning), septic (infection: 30% of cases), or crystal-related (gout). Important to differentiate septic from non-septic as management differs completely.
