Stuck Neck / Can't Turn

Acute onset of unilateral neck pain with marked limitation of movement, often upon waking. Two types: facet joint (apophyseal) wry neck: locked facet, acute onset, severe movement restriction; and discogenic wry neck: disc irritation, may have radicular component, slower onset. Very common, usually self-limiting, excellent prognosis.
