Posterior Ankle Impingement (Os Trigonum)

Back of Ankle Impingement

Pain at posterior ankle with plantarflexion. Common in ballet (en pointe) and footballers (shooting). Caused by os trigonum or Stieda process. Positive posterior impingement test.
