Sore Achilles (Middle)
Tendinopathy of the Achilles tendon 2-6cm above the calcaneal insertion (the "watershed zone" of poorest vascularity). The most common Achilles pathology. Peak in recreational runners 35-45 years. Fusiform thickening of the tendon visible and palpable.
